Languages:Fabio Ferrara graduated in law in 2005 with final mark 110/110 cum laude at the University of Catania, with a dissertation on the "Protection of the attractive value of trademarks having a reputation”. He was admitted as a student of the “Scuola Superiore di Catania per la Formazione di Eccellenza”, university institution for higher education on a residential basis, part of a network including Scuola Normale di Pisa and Scuola Sant'Anna di Pisa, obtaining a diploma with final mark 70/70 with a dissertation on comparative protection of trademarks in the Italian, UE and US systems.
Between 2007 and 2008, he attended a Master in International Business Development organized by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, with a stay in Moscow (Russia) for the development of a project concerning the analysis of the Russian corporate and regulatory system.
His professional practice is mainly focused on corporate and commercial law, insolvency and bankruptcy procedures. In addition to litigation, he provides assistance and advice on company's current management as well as extraordinary corporate transactions, dealing with draft and negotiation of agreements and documents relating to:
He has been appointed as official receiver in several bankruptcy proceedings and has assisted companies in debt restructuring procedures.
He has gained a specific expertise in the field of internationalization of business processes, providing legal support to clients in transnational trade operations or in their international expansion plans, also through the cooperation of foreign consultants with whom he has established firm relationships over the years.
He is a lecturer in conferences and training courses on issues related to corporate law and international contract law.
He speaks and writes in Italian, English and Spanish and collaborates with Prof. Giorgio Floridia's legal firm on commercial, bankruptcy, civil and international law.
